"Here's the scoop if your looking for a chair that goes up and down; the MTI is the best. It has a 650 pound lifting capacity where as the competition is much lower I think it was 300 or 350 pounds.
I had the competition's chair and it kept breaking down {very expensive} to fix. Finally, after spending $2,000 over three years, I was told the reason is if a heavy patient was lifted it would break. Unfortunately no one told me this and it was not part of the printed instructions that were in the manual. I called the competition and they confessed that they do not list this info. So buyer beware."

"I purchased an MTI chair in February and so far I am very happy with it. The motor is smooth and quiet. Patients seem to be comfortable and it has no trouble lifting the heaviest of patients. The adjustable foot rest accommodates the taller patients well. It is easier to seat older patients because the chair is relatively low to the ground.

"I have been a long-time customer of MTI. Patients are often impressed with their luxuriousness which reflects well on my practice. The swivel base is a must-have option that I can't work without. It is especially useful for performing laser surgery as the device can be stationary while the patient is comfortably rotated to the proper position.
Pressing a simple footswitch silently moves the table to a user-programmed position so you can multitask. Makes you wonder why competitors' tables don't offer this. Having owned four tables, I've recommended them to other dermatologists and MOHS surgeons. In fact, I'll be buying another two to outfit my new office."
