Procedure chairs and exam room equipment designed for Wound care

MTI’s ADA-compliant chairs are designed to enhance the experience for both patients and caregivers. Tailored for wound care specialists, these chairs are equipped to handle bariatric patients (up to 850 lbs) and are thoughtfully crafted with powered extension foot sections.

Comfort

Patients can stay calm and relaxed in the comfort of MTI’s soft and ergonomically-designed wound care exam and procedure chairs. With fully powered, programmable convenience and smooth Soft Start/Stop technology, the chairs’ movements transition patient positions effortlessly to the ideal exam position, even at higher patient capacities. Additionally, the smart controls and powered foot sections make working with patients in our chairs comfortable for caregivers.

Safety

Patient and caregiver safety is top of mind in all of MTI wound care equipment designs. All of our wound care chairs are built with sturdy, low profile bases with leveling glides that prevent tipping or wobbling when working on patients. Each chair is built on a welded steel frame to support heavy loads over many years without instability. Many of our G2 chairs include Safety Lockout™, safe zones, and Collision Avoidance System™ to help keep the chair in safe positions.

ADA Compliance

While it has been best practice to be ADA Compliant, now it is also the law.

A September 2024 ruling by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) and the U.S. Department of Justice (“DOJ”) requires each of your facility locations to have at least one and up to 10%-20% of your examination tables and chairs, meet the U.S. Access Board’s Standards for Accessible Medical Diagnostic Equipment (“ADA MDE” or “ADA MDE Standards”).

MTI’s ADA compliant Wound Care chairs meet all of the necessary requirements which include: 17-19” entry height, 21×17” transfer surface, a transfer support, leg supports, and 2 transfer sides.
