Powered by an intelligent lithium-ion battery, the MTI 840 operates without the need for a constant connection to an electrical outlet. MTI's head stabilizer cushion is a very convenient way of stabilizing the patient's head during temporal procedures. The cushion can easily be moved to either side of the headrest or removed completely when not needed. It is also adjustable inward and outward from the headrest to accommodate every patient. The bed rail and transfer support is ambidextrous, allowing caregivers to move a support from one side of the chair to the other using our plug-and-play accessory system. And with the press of a button, adjust the support every 18° from 0° to 180°, allowing the support to be positioned wherever it is needed to ensure safety. Transfer supports are a requirement to meet 36 CFR Part 1195 Standards for Accessible Medical Diagnostic Equipment.

It can be moved to the either side of the patient's head for temporal approaches or at the top of the head for a posterior approach and can be vertically adjusted up and down 6.25" (15.9 cm).
