Transfer Supports/Bed Rails (G2)

Transfer supports are a requirement to meet 36 CFR Part 1195 Standards for Accessible Medical Diagnostic Equipment. They provide a support for patients with disabilities assisting to independently transfer onto the chair, removing barriers for entry. They are also a bed rail providing security during procedures and examinations and for mobile applications provide safety during patient transport. The transfer support is ambidextrous, allowing caregivers to move a support from one side of the chair to the other using our plug-and-play accessory system. With the press of a button, adjust the support every 18° from 0° to 180°, allowing to position the support wherever the patient may need it. Supporting up to 250 lbs. at the end of the support, you will never need to worry about using it for your bariatric patients.

Leg Wrapping Support (G2)

Avoid health care professional injury by using MTI’s patent pending leg wrapping support. The patent pending leg wrapping support is a dual function support providing a calf support for wrapping the foot/heel and a heel support for wrapping the rest of the leg. The removable leg wrapping support is made from aluminum for a light-weight yet very strong support and is non-porous coated for ease in cleaning and disinfecting. The support can easily be moved to either the patient’s left or right hand side of the foot section for ease of wrapping either leg or heel.

Spline kits are not necessary for MTI's 550 Podiatry Chairs, as splines come standard with the 550. *Patent Pending
