Our lightweight transfer support helps you provide patients with stability while entering and exiting your chairs, removing mobility barriers for those with less agility. Transfer supports are a requirement to meet 36 CFR Part 1195 Standards for Accessible Medical Diagnostic Equipment.
Compliant to HHS and DOJ enforceable ADA standards, our transfer support is ambidextrous, allowing caregivers to move a support from one side of the chair to the other using our plug-and-play accessory system. It does not require any additional mounts and can be used with your existing MTI chair. Plus, its slim design makes it easy to store in a cabinet or drawer while not in use.

- Located 1 ½” or less from the nearest edge of the transfer surface
- Capable of supporting transfer on each side of the transfer surface
- Minimum 15 inches long, 6 – 19 inches high, with a diameter of 1 ¼ – 2 inches
- A continuous gripping surface along the length and unobstructed along the top or side
