To Whom It My Concern – I am writing on behalf of Medical Technology Industries, Inc. (MTI), a Premier contracted supplier that provides essential products and services to healthcare providers across the United States. Premier is an alliance of approximately 4,000 U.S. hospitals and 175,000 non-acute providers of care with the core objective of improving the health of communities. Group purchasing is a fundamental way that Premier alliance members cooperate to reduce the costs of providing their services. Through the group purchasing programs operated by Premier, alliance members have access to negotiated contracts with suppliers to ensure that healthcare providers receive the products and services they need across all care settings. The supplier presenting this letter is a manufacturer, supplier or distributor of products or services to Premier members. During these challenging times related to the COVID-19 pandemic, this letter is provided in support of Premier contracted suppliers that are delivering products and services to acute and non-acute healthcare providers. The businesses of these suppliers, and the products and/or services provided, allow hospitals and health systems to operate. As such, they are essential to healthcare operations and help ensure that Premier members can continue to support their patients and staff in this very difficult time. If you have any questions regarding this letter, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. |
Sincerely,
David A. Hargraves, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Premier, Inc. |
